Student Lounge

What is student lounge? Some people may not understand exact meaning of it. It is a public space within inside or outdoors of university, college or any other educational facility. As we know, during our studies we spend most of our times in our schools. We are away from home, away from our comfort zone where we can relax, rest and work or study. Sometimes we feel frustrated because of it. So how do we change that? We need student lounges. Most of universities in Mongolia don’t provide such space. From watching foreign movies I’ve discovered that most universities abroad have student lounges. Student lounge is place where creativity, communication and networking takes place. By spending time in such active space you have chance to hang out with other students, by cu study communication with others you learn and get new ideas and help in different perspectives. My perfect student lounge will be an open space in the heart of university facility. Where you have canteen with variety of foods and beverages, maybe even little supermarket where day sell daily needs. It is proven fact that human body when it is studying it burns twice as much calories as doing body labor or exercise. So access to healthy food with enough nutrition’s is very important. And by fueling your body you study longer ours and achieve more. Another important detail in student lounge will be comfortable space to study. When you have free time before your next class, it would be nice to sit somewhere comfortable and not distracting place, it can be cozy couch, where you can read, or comfortable study table. Quiet atmosphere in study areas are very important. We all know as being student, we research a lot, and most valuable resource is internet. Providing internet is not only important, it’s a must! By having access to internet we having access to the world. Being innovative is a way to be in our modern world. And having space where we can be creative is a push. To share and learn with others is important. By having small conference rooms most of us can share our designs and ideas with others. Different students can group a team for social activities, discuss new ideas, and demonstrate our new creations. By studying we make our future. As human being we always learn and student times are most important and memorable times of our lives. Friends we make throughout this time, teachers and professors are those who we remember. Comfortable environment to study and live would make those memories more valuable!
